This was run on Wednesday 24th June 1868 over 1 mile 6 furlongs and 3 yards at The Curragh and the winner was owned by Mr Holland (as shown on the Honours board, but this was a nom de course for William Bourke), trained privately and ridden by 'Red' Denis Wynne. There were 11 subscribers at 25 Guineas each. The winner, bred by Thomas Wright in Ireland, won by 6 lengths in a canter. |
